You can copy the entire contents of the old card to your computer, then copy the contents to the new card.  You should be doing this anyway to keep a backup.  If you don't make a backup and your card gets corrupted or lost you will have to buy an update to replace the contents. 

 I would first delete some of the excess older saved customer vehicle files and make sure the present time and date are set and see if it helps any.
